This has been on my whiteboard for months. I really think this is the upper level of my artistic ability.
So I’m gonna take a page from my NLO days and start a theme called “This Week In:” to replace the fan favorite “Of the Week”. The first installment is gonna cover my favorite topic, video games.
With the release of The Orange Box, by Valve Software, my free time is no longer that, “free”. The Orange Box contains 3 new games from Valve and 2 classics. The new games are Half Life 2: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. HL2:E2 is new episodic content, which basically means some more kick ass single player stuff you’ve expected from Half Life 2. Portal is a new puzzle game using the HL engine, which I couldn’t stop playing until I finished it 2 hours later. Its pretty short but there are more “extra” levels that I hear are quite the challenge. Team Fortress 2 is a multiplayer only game that can only be described at cartoon mayhem. Its quite fun and I’ve spent most of my free time playing this. The graphics are great and the gameplay is so well done! The classics in the Orange Box are Half Life 2 and HL2: Episode 1, to catch you up to Ep 2 if you haven’t gone through those yet.
Next on the release schedule are Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band. GH3 comes out at the end of this month, while Rock Band comes out near Thanksgiving. Just enough break in schedule to make sure I’m completely broke . The biggest thing I’m excited about is the drumkit for RB. Check it out:

Let’s Get This Started

First it was, Worst Blog Ever which ended with the beginning of NLO
Next, it was Implobbable, which just failed due to lack of interest.
Then it was followed quickly by Watch This Wreck, which never could quite figure out what it was.
Lately its been Empirical Polk, which I’m still an author at, but I can’t really talk about “me”.
So yes, this is blog number 5 for me, Adam Weeks. Wow, I really have ADD.
